Energy-efficient product dryers for industrial applications

OPTI-PACK is expanding its range with three new drying systems from Florin: the Mini Compact Dryer, the Ultra Compact Dryer and Sonic Air Systems. All three have been developed as a genuine alternative to blowing off with compressed air, and the difference is substantial: up to 90% energy savings compared to traditional compressed air applications. With this addition, OPTI-PACK now offers a suitable solution for virtually every drying requirement on the packaging line.

Compressed air is expensive, noisy and often inefficient. Anyone still blowing off residual moisture, condensation or dust on a packaging line with compressed air is paying for it structurally in energy costs. The Florin systems each tackle that problem from a slightly different angle, and together they form a complete package for drying applications on the line.

Mini Compact Dryer: precision for small drying tasks

The Mini Compact Dryer is the smallest of the three and can be deployed directly in places where space is limited. The system is designed for targeted tasks such as blowing off coding areas, removing residual moisture, drying closures, lid actuation and sorting out empty bottles. With a power consumption of just 180 watts, a 230V connection and stepless speed control, the Mini Compact Dryer is compact, low-maintenance and pays for itself quickly. The system is available in several versions: Version B with mounting hardware, Version BNE with a built-in power switch, and Version BSL with controls in a stainless steel switch cabinet.

Ultra Compact Dryer: powerful drying at specific points

Where more power is needed, the Ultra Compact Dryer offers the answer. This system focuses on drying specific parts: can bottoms, coding areas, bottle necks and closures, and is also excellent for removing residual water just before camera-based inspection. With power up to 1,300 watts, a 400V connection and overvoltage protection, this system is built for more intensive use, without compromising on noise level or energy consumption. The Ultra Compact Dryer is available in the standard version, as a 2.0 version with splash water protection, and as a wall-mounted model for flexible positioning. 

Sonic Air Systems: powerful fans for complete packaging

For drying complete packaging, think of bottles, cans, glass jars or meal trays, there is Sonic Air Systems. These powerful fans operate at air speeds exceeding 9,000 m/min, resulting in significantly shorter drying times than comparable systems. With motor power ranging from 5.5 to 37 kW, this is the robust solution for tank drying, wire drying and blowing off parts or steel straps. The optional stainless steel housing also provides sound damping and splash protection, and can be easily integrated into existing lines.
