Florin
Product dryers
New to Our Product Range
OPTI-PACK expands its product range with three advanced drying systems from Florin: the Mini Compact Dryer, Ultra Compact Dryer, and Sonic Air Systems. Each system is designed as a high-performance alternative to compressed air drying, reducing energy consumption by up to 90% compared to conventional compressed air applications.
Together, these systems provide a complete solution for virtually every drying application on a packaging line—from precisely drying coding areas to removing moisture from entire packages.
Compressed air is expensive, noisy, and often inefficient. Many packaging lines still rely on compressed air to remove residual moisture, condensation, or dust, resulting in unnecessarily high energy costs. Florin drying systems offer a more efficient and cost-effective solution, with each system tailored to a specific application.
The Product Range
Three Systems, Each Designed for a Specific Task
Choose the right solution based on what needs to be dried: a specific component, a complete package, or a high-capacity production line.
Precision · Small Drying Applications - Mini Compact Dryer
The smallest system in the range, designed for installations where space is limited. Ideal for targeted drying applications with continuously variable speed control and low power consumption.
Typical applications
Available versions

Applications
After the steam tunnel, residual condensation often remains on the packaging surface. This moisture can interfere with coding, labelling, and vision inspection.
For manufacturers using shrink sleeve applications, the benefits of Florin drying technology are immediately apparent. The systems efficiently and reliably remove residual moisture directly after the steam tunnel and before coding, labelling, or final packaging.
A practical on-site test is available, allowing you to verify the expected performance and energy savings on your own packaging line before making an investment.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much energy can Florin drying technology save compared to compressed air?
Florin drying systems can reduce energy consumption by up to 90% compared to comparable compressed air applications. Instead of continuously consuming compressed air, the systems use precisely directed electrically driven airflow, significantly lowering operating costs while delivering a fast return on investment.
What is the difference between the Mini Compact Dryer and the Ultra Compact Dryer?
The Mini Compact Dryer is the most compact solution (maximum 180 W, 230 V), designed for targeted drying tasks such as coding areas and caps.
The Ultra Compact Dryer provides substantially more drying capacity (maximum 1,300 W, 400 V) and is intended for more demanding applications, including drying can bottoms, bottle necks, and other critical components.
When should I choose Sonic Air Systems instead of the Compact Dryers?
Sonic Air Systems are designed for drying complete packages rather than individual components. With motor outputs of up to 37 kW and air velocities exceeding 9,000 m/min, they are the preferred solution for high-volume applications such as tank drying, thread drying, and complete package drying.
Can I test the Florin drying systems on my own production line?
Yes. All three systems are available for on-site testing, allowing you to evaluate the drying performance and potential energy savings under your own production conditions before purchasing.
Are Florin drying systems suitable for shrink sleeve applications?
Yes. Residual condensation after the steam tunnel can negatively affect coding, labelling, and vision inspection. Florin drying systems efficiently remove this moisture immediately after the tunnel, ensuring reliable downstream processing.
