There is a special moment every packaging specialist looks forward to: the first time a new production line runs and everything comes together. When the first products roll off the conveyor perfectly sleeved, you know all the preparation has paid off.
Last week, we experienced that moment at Forever Direct.
After months of preparation and a successful Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at the BW Packaging facility, the line was transported to Forever Direct’s production site for the Site Acceptance Test (SAT). Just as we had hoped, everything ran smoothly: the first bottles moved through the line and came out perfectly sleeved.
The setup, a new model Sleevit RF Sleeve Machine combined with the Sleevit S2000 Steam Tunnel is compact but powerful. The line can handle a wide range of containers, from round to square and from plastic to glass. It also supports different sleeve materials and options such as tamper-evident sleeves.
What makes this configuration stand out is the combination of flexibility, speed, and reliability. The line sleeves products quickly, consistently, and with a high-quality finish.
Seeing the line integrate seamlessly into Forever Direct’s production and watching the first perfectly sleeved products appear on the conveyor is exactly why we do what we do. It is the result of smart engineering, careful planning, and strong teamwork.
We would like to thank Forever Direct for their trust and the teams at BW Packaging for their excellent support — from design through installation.
These are the moments that make all the hard work worthwhile, and we look forward to seeing this line perform at a high level for many years to come.
